"I haven't signed a death metal band since the early
90's, when that whole scene reached a serious saturation and then
stagnation point. But I never stopped following that genre and when
DAATH came along, I finally heard a new band who injected originality,
excitement and fresh ideas back into that style of music."

eh...these guys aren't too bad, but as far as them being original and introducing fresh ideas - i don't think so. death metal is a pretty stagnant genre; there have been thousands and thousands of bands doing this shit for over 15 years. don't get me wrong i love the music, but i don't think there's any style that hasn't been tried yet.

"DAATH fuses elements of
cutting-edge death and black metal with expansive orchestral and
electronic themes."

wow. death AND black metal together in one style and on top of that they're adding orchestral and electronic themes??? pretty risky; extreme music fans might not be ready for this yet...
