it is indeed a usa and that's what makes it special, and why i was wondering what peeps would offer. seeing as, jackson usa is no more (bought out by fender) and online any usa jackson is worth upwards of 3000. not saying that i will get this, but maybe i should just hold on to it....hmmmm don't know yet

as for pick ups they are seymore duncan

the serial number is 003755 (on the back) not fretboard

they are jackson pickups and it is definitely an ebony fretboard, and i think it may even be a custom one for it is totally black with no markings. the neck is one of the fastest necks i have ever played( that's why i bought the thing really) \m/
