could always take the serial numbers off but you'd get in more trouble if they caught you with a gun with no serial numbers on it. so what do you do? don't get caught. personally i would've taken the fucking thing. actually two of my friends are off to jail for possesion of stolen firearms for a long time. one of the guys has previous stolen firearms / resisting arrest etc. charges (idiot) and it's the first charge for the other guy. not too sure of the final sentence just yet but i'm sure it'll be hefty.
