Spitfire Records To Release Kings Of Damnation: 98-04 Definitive Zakk Wylde Retrospective Features Early Solo Work Including Pride And Glory and Book Of Shadows

Zakk Wylde: a name synonymous with guitar greatness. From the moment he was selected at the age of 19 to create thunder by the side of the incomparable Ozzy Osbourne, to his illustrious career as frontman of Black Label Society, Zakk has been blowing speakers and minds. With his God-given musical virtuosity, signature bullseye-style Les Paul guitars, badass denim and leather dress code and wild golden mane of barbarian locks, Zakk is nothing less than iconic. Realizing the importance and impact of such a momentous artist, Spitfire Records and Eagle Rock Entertainment felt that it was only fitting to assemble the ultimate Zakk Wylde collection, Kings Of Damnation: 98-04.

Kings Of Damnation 98-04 features tracks spanning Zakk Wylde’s entire career, including his first trio, Pride and Glory, and Black Label Society. With tracks such as “Stillborn,” “The Blessed Hellride,” “Horse Called War,” “Crazy Or High,” “Between Heaven and Hell,” “Sold My Soul” and many more available for the first time ever on the same disc, Zakk’s skill as a songwriter and the impressive body of work Black Label Society has accumulated over the years is well-showcased. Also included are “Doomsday Inc” and “SDMF,” both previously unreleased and available here for the very first time. Kings Of Damnation: 98-04 is a history lesson in the career of one of the greatest metal guitarists ever.
