You cannot return mics to musicians friend. It is a health violation.

I need money so I might end up selling my drum mics and mixing board.

If you do let me know.

We need to rent a couple drum mics and overheads. And a good mic to record guitar. I have an SM57 but I don't know if there's something better. We were going to go into a studio to record but it fell through so it looks like we have to stick with home recording but we want to do it right this time.

I'm assuming this is for guitar? it all depends on what sound you're trying to get. often times i use an sm 57 and a c414 together. I've been known to use a U-87 or U-47 as well. An sm 57 with a md421 sounds good or a 57 with a amt25. just mix the two mics to taste. becareful of phasing.
