The more I listen, the less I like any other songs besides 'Atonement' and 'Baying of the Hounds'.

I can understand both sides of the download/morality issue, but I think hard media (CDs, etc) is about to go the route of extinction, and kudos to that, the packaging is completely fucking wasteful to our environment and simply takes up space. Most people I know with CDs or large CD collections seem to still prefer their iPods, and direct digital media would cut out a lot of the parasites from the industry. So I'm all for it.

I love my CDs too...with cover art and packaging, but let's face it, it's almost over.

Just think, Opeth might make a dime off each CD that is sold, but what if we could just buy their albums directly from them online, via media download? You could pay the bands $6 for their CD and they'd make a hell of a lot more than they do now, since the leeches would be plucked from their skin.
