no, i dont see how its "unamerican" to have an opinion - even if that opinion is that someone should support the actions of their government. actually, i think thats very "american".

i dont necesarily agree with the bush administration or the war - but i understand the need for war. i think its pretty clear that this whole thing was about oil. well guess what? we need oil. so as much as this war sucks, us not having oil would suck a whooole lot more. thats pretty much the bottom line. what i dont understand is people bugging out about how we should do this or that - but there plan never really covers how the country should be run. or if it does, its this completely dillusional idealism crap that could never possibly have a practicial application (please see: anarchism).

and yeah, freedom of speech is what makes america great. where some asshole like me can have a bunch of offensive tattoos and a foul mouth and not get his head chopped off. thats pretty great. and the way alot of things are going when it comes to that area, isnt so great.
but no, i think this country was founded on more important things, like progressive taxation. i dont know man, i think the country was founded on alot of good ideas, one not being any more important than the next.
