obituary: damn, they took like 45 minutes to set up. That was sort of totally lame. then when they came out, the singer was mia. After a slow chuggy intro, he came out and they broke in to a ton of song. Obituary is always one of those bands that I think of and think they are just a cheese dm band from the 90s. Then I hear them and I remember how awesome they are and how I know every fucking song they play. Listening to them, you can hear million of riff, progression, and slow build ups that have been stolen by just about every single band today. A couple songs in, they played threatening skies. I swear six feet under stole 1/2 that song for on of the songs of warpath (the name esapes me). After every song, the drummer would stand up and clap or whatever. Where the hell was that "spooky" satan voice coming from? They tested it out, but I have no idea when it was coming from..
Right be for the encore, they played a track off the new CD. they said it was their "last song" Yeah right no slowly we rot? And who finihes up with a brand new track? Nobody, that's who.
encore: the drumer can out and played a drum solo for 5 minutes or so. then every, but the singer came out. You hear the toms REALLY loud. Well, this is because john tardy come up behind the drums and was playing behind the drummer. They played dying! And then the mic kept caughting oh well, they fought to the death. Slowly we rot. people were chanting for one more song, but it didn't happen.
