well, that show was pretty short (for me) and awesome... the club was filled up with what you would expect on a wednesday night in NH... and especially so close to seabrook. Lot's of bikers there too... One of my friends had a support your local nomads shirt on and some HAs kept looking, pointing and a couple times walking almost up to him. Funny thing, I recognized at least one of them and I think I went to highschool with him.

anyhow, all things aside, once carina got me in, it was great. the venue is super old... reminds me of an early 1900, later 1800 saloon. it's very open in there too.

recognizer: roadsaw.. chainsaw.. killsaw.. somethingsaw who does a show at a station that I don't listen to's band. I thought they broke up along ass time ago. I see jr (the singer last time I saw them) in portsmouth all the time. I missed them.

brand new sin: I've missed these guys on purpose before. It was like 3 years ago(?) when they opened a metalfest or fatcats show. they aren't really my thing at all... it's like rock-metal. but they are on CM and will have a new CD out soon. At one point, the singer asked if anyone had a copy of their old CD because he didn't have one and he was looking for one. I should had said that I have 3-4 copies at my station... their label sent me tons.

motorhead: so the wait for motorhead was like 30 minutes and then BANG. the wrestler triple h introduced them and then were off.

I've never seen motorhead before and it was pretty intense. Their music is just so upfront and in your face. Almost immediately, the crowd started to toss shirts and things on to stage. some one from in back would run up, grab it and pull it off the stage. At one point lemmy quiped "stop throwing your stuff up 'ere. I don't want it. I don't like you." in his thin limey accent. They played a bit heavey from the new CD inferno which lemmy so called "his" album. I think it was something like "have you bought my new album?" which makes sense cause he is basically the band, no?
I had taken a snap shot of the set list so I knew what songs were coming. granted, I would have loved to heard ace of spade and overkill, but carina and I left 1/2 way through the set. still, awesome songing after 30 freaking years!
