-Taken from myspace-

As many of you know, most of the original lineup decided to leave the band last year. I (Brendan) spent the following 5 months auditioning anyone and everyone who wanted to try out. As great as everyone who came down was, It just didn't feel right without Dave,Pedro,JP,Kevin and George. I started to feel like it just couldn't work, and started to take auditions for other bands myself (which led to me playing in Invocation of nehek for a while and now 100 Demons). Although I found another full time band, I love ATFS too much to just let it abruptly die. I spent the better half of the last 3 years playing with this band, and have worked too hard to just let it go. When the founding members left, they gave me their blessing to continue on with it, so that's exactly what is going to happen. With the intense touring schedule that I have with 100 Demons, It's impossible for ATFS to be a "full time" band, So the game plan is to do as much as possible in 100 demons' down time.
You've probably noticed the new faces/names on this here myspace page. These are the kick ass new members. The new singer Rob is probably the most familiar face, He was my bandmate/current singer of Invocation of nehek. The new guitarists name is Ted. he's the stylish one of the group (and yes, he has a name for his penis, it's called the Octagon) Former guitarist for Shallow Water Grave, this skinny bastard shreds so hard, he makes Eddie Van Halen seem like a child pornographer. Finally on drums is a sketchy bastard named Elliot, formerly of The Legacy Virus. With the new faces comes a new direction. While staying true to the roots of the band in melodic metal and hardcore, the new ATFS album is step towards the more aggressive aspects of both genres. A balancing act between the destructive tendencies. So far the new material sounds fuckin crazy, kinda like Blood has been shed meets Cryptopsy. \m/
So There you have it, the last half a year in the life of ATFS. For those of you still with me here, We will be playing shows starting mid summer, and expect a new album on stillborn records around fall.
Thanks to all of you for the kind emails through the last six months, It means alot. And if you haven't already, go get "The Wilting", you can find it anywhere.
Sincerely,
Brendan ATFS
