so an hour after my foot touched the pavement in PVD, it started snowing. As I was driving down, there was a HUGE black cloud over that direction. I thought it was weird, but I kept driving.

the nightmare continues: they played like 8 songs with one cover. I'm not sure what the cover was (honestly). B showed me... I think he said marvin gaye, but it sounded more like some 90's death grind band (cryptic slaughter or napalm death). In the end, a stack and the drums got tossed. actually, I was almost grabbed and tossed instead of the guitar rig!

sulaco: my first time seeing them. pretty damn good. distorted bass which was out front a lot. Some parts reminded me of older mastodon, but if fits right in with that CWAF/Kylesa sound that is loud and so hard to genrify.

conifer:I was outside when they started up and was charmed back into the place with everyone else who was saying "I love this song!" to the beginning of troy. they played 4 songs.. I think... the 3rd of which was a new song, called king chrom vs. mothra.

playing enemy: my first time seeing them too. it was awesome. I would have to say that they had the best stage presence out of all the bands. at the end when everyone else in the bad sat down, I knew that the guitarist was going to put his guitar against the amp after he was done, letting the feed back go.
