[QUOTE="the_reverend:182656"]http://www.cincypost.com/2004/12/21/rage122104.html Road rage incident linked to earlier line cut at store -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By Roy Wood Post staff reporter A video game store shopper apparently didn't have enough Christmas spirit and ended up in jail after a road rage incident. The man, charged with aggravated menacing, is accused of waiting along Ohio 32 for a shopper coming from Eastgate Mall and trying to run her SUV off the road, the Ohio Highway Patrol said. The episode began at the Game Crazy store at the mall Monday afternoon when Batavia residents Kevin Crawford, 33, and Alisa Heimann, 27, stepped to the checkout in front of Nina Curry of Cincinnati, police said. Someone else in line asked the pair to let Curry go first, but an argument ensued, police said. A friend of Curry's got involved. The argument got so loud, someone called police. Before troopers from the Batavia post arrived, Crawford and Heimann left the store, police said. Later, Curry left and traveled east on Ohio 32 toward Batavia, where she works. A witness told troopers that when Curry went by in her SUV, Crawford was waiting in a driveway just west of Batavia. He pulled out of the driveway, caught up with Curry and swerved into her lane, forcing her into the median toward a concrete barrier. Curry swerved back to avoid the wall and collided with Crawford's SUV. The vehicles collided at about 55 mph, police said. No one was injured. Curry called 911 and followed Crawford's SUV long enough to get a license number. Crawford later turned himself in at the Batavia post. Troopers could not say how Crawford might have known Curry would be traveling east on Ohio 32. In addition to aggravated menacing, Crawford was charged with criminal damaging, obstructing official business and traffic offenses. He was being held in the Clermont County Jail on $7,600 bond.
