thanks tbone r; i actually had to fix the chair one, since my light source didn't match the light reflecting on the walls. just a simple lampshade fixed that...hopefully i'll get that piece back from my professor soon along with the 2nd component to it (the really bright colored one), cuz i had to fix some stuff on there as well.

as far as the comment that keithbuckley made, i really don't give a shit. if someone says my music or taste in music sucks, whatever. if someone says my art or taste in art sucks, whatever. art definitely is subjective. too many people get all bitchy when their work--whether any form of art, music included, etc.--gets bad remarks or harsh criticism. i make art for myself...well, for my professors and clients too. but i make sure i make it how i want to. i thank dreadkill anyway, cuz he's a cool shit and i know he was just trying to keep this thread positive as he is an artist himself. no need to argue here folks.

and also...i know many art instructors at umass dartmouth, as well as a few other schools, that have just their bachelor's degree in art, and they're some of the best teachers i've had. from what i understand it's kind of easy in this area to get a college instructor job when attending the same school for grad school. rock on south shore! yowza!
