The Xasthur/Leviathan split is kinda disposable. 7 Xasthur songs (incl a cover and a rehearsal track) and only 3 leviathan songs. The Leviathan/Iuvenes split is good, 5 Leviathan tracks. The Crebain and Black Death splits are probably my favorites. As for Xasthur, I definitely view him as being in a more ambient black sort of vibe, like more midperiod (?) burzum as compared to the earlier stuff. Id basically agree with bestialonslaught's assesment except throw in the observation that To Violate the Oblivious is better than Telepathic With the Deceased.
