THE ESOTERIC SIGN WITH PROSTHETIC RECORDS; BAND IN STUDIO RECORDING NEW ALBUM Innovative Lawrence, KS outfit THE ESOTERIC has signed a worldwide recording deal with Los Angeles-based Prosthetic Records. The prescient quintet's full-length record With the Sureness of Sleepwalking is set for a February 2005 release. THE ESOTERIC feature COALESCE and REGGIE AND THE FULL EFFECT guitarist Cory White as well as former TODAY IS THE DAY drummer Marshall Kilpatric and have come to be known for their intrepid, genre-bending songwriting and arresting live performances. Earlier this week, the band (rounded out by bassist Anthony Diale, guitarist Eric Graves and vocalist Steve Cruz) entered Black Lodge studios in Eudora, KS with veteran producer/engineer Ed Rose (COALESCE, ULTIMATE FAKEBOOK, the GET UP KIDS) to commence recording, which will be completed by November 5. With the Sureness of Sleepwalking is slated for a February 22, 2005 street date through Prosthetic Records. Some reported track titles include: "Your New Burden", "A Fool's Errand", "Until the Grave Gives Up the Ghost", "Ram-Faced Boy", "This Is Dedicated to the Prettiest One" and "No Jazz Before the Rumble". Leading news and touring information is also made available through www.prostheticrecords.com and the bands official website www.the-esoteric.com. "Comparisons to anything traditional would be inane" -LAMBGOAT "The band's ear-splitting attack is as tuneful as it is abrasive, mixing odd time signatures and calculated rhythm blasts into thoughtfully composed songs." -LAWRENCE WEEKLY "An atom bomb that will incinerate all genre boundaries" -DIGITAL METAL
