From your X'd up swatch to your $5 timex to your $10 rolocks to the rather expensive self-winding Tizo Carina bought me and I've seen to have mis-placed*, everyone needs to take care of their time piece as the chaotic wall of spazzy noise band, Watchmaker, has now called it quits.
From the first time I saw them, they capture some sort of essence live that few bands can. an intensity that is hard to match. it could have something to do with the giant rusty saw, but now we will never know.
* watchmaker has no affiliation with timex, casio, or the street vendors selling rolechs/rolocks. At the time of this article's publishing, it is unclear if anyone who has ever been in watchmaker has ever made or repaired a watch.
PS: see the watchmaker reunion show tomorrow in maine at geno's!
