Hi,
I'm a music lover from northern Virginia, and I have a burnt cd from my girlfriend's friend that I love, but I had to hunt down the names of the artists. There's still a few songs by two different artists who I can't figure out. Any help you can offer would be great.

There are 3 songs by the first musician, and she sings in french, german, and spanish in the different songs. The song in spanish is actually a Pablo Neruda poem, Poema 15. Some of the lyrics from the song in french included "Donne l'impression d'un petit bonham (?)... L'attitude de quelqu'un... le mien... mi corazon... la vitesse..." That's all I could make out with my rusty french and spanish. The main word in the chorus sounds like "Um" but it could easily be some french word I don't know. I can't pin down a genre for the music either. It's a little Bjork, a little Portis Head. There's only 1 vocalist, the rest is instrumental.

The second mystery musician sounds like a singer/songwriter with instrumental and a little vocal backup. The music kinda drones, but it's beautiful in a melancholy, forlorn way. Sounds like 2 guitars, bass guitar, and drums. The lyrics start "There aren't enough ways to tell you I love you (repeat) /Oh you know that if I could I would be there in a moment / to breathe you in for the first time over again. // And I think that there's somebody out there for me / And I'm thinking and I'm hoping that it's you ... " The vocalist has a gorgeous voice, languid.

If you happen to have any idea who this might be, I would genuinely appreciate your help.

Thanks,
Heather

PS I don't know if there's a reason the person who put the mix cd together grouped the artists on it intentionally, or if she just thought my girlfriend would like them all. Just in case there's some significance of the specific artists, the other 2 artists onthe cd I was able to figure out are Carina Round and TV on the Radio.
