New site? Maybe some day.

Friday night I went to Obriens Pub for Bostons Dead.
Kurixis opened and were fucking killer, I was psyched to see those guys again. Unfortunately their shirt designer discriminates against fat people, so I have to wait to buy a shirt when they make XLs.
Ascendancy was on second and played a pretty sick set, Terence seemed pretty lifeless on stage, I slipped 4 xanax into his pina colada before their set.
I missed a good deal of Trinity Test because I forgot my ear plugs and at that point I was sick and very tired. I ended up leaving early.
Saturday night at the as220 was the most fun I had in a long time. Ascendancy opened and were much better then the night before, I feel bad for you stupid faggots who didn't drive down to Providence for this. The band wreaked havok on the unsuspecting (unshowered) denizens of Providence.
Abhorred was on second, and got a better crowd response then they ever have in Boston (except maybe at the show they played with Watchmaker). We had a new round of their demos made up, which were snatched up pretty quickly after their set. Hopefully they get a chance to play down in Providence again (hint hint Anne).
This was my first time seeing Nefarious, at first I wasn't sure if I liked them, but by the end of their set I knew I did. So much in fact, that I stole a ton of Nefarious tapes from Anne and started handing them out to my friends.
Fall of the Bastards headlined, they are from Oregon and you love them. They had vocal effects, much like Nefarious, but it worked so well on both bands. The crowd went insane during this band, and the only person who got hurt was Anne, but she fucked up her knee earlier in the week. Anyone who wasn't european would have known that moshing with a blown out knee=pain, but I forgive you Anne, we all do.
Outside things got steamier, when I went my pants in front of some hot lesbians.
I love Providence. |

Both shows were good...
Last night ended up being a bit too crazy wasted for me to handle things right. Just couldn't do the door very long, I'm actually surprised I lasted that long. I had fun, and it was nice to see some MA people down there. We ended up at a party with Mark and Nick Kevorkian...and on the way out we lost them and I think they got lost too...I don't know. I'm still drunk. |
