What do you mean, "you people"? I'm almost 33, and don't remember ever seeing that. Maybe I happened to not go to one of those shows. But anyways, my guess is that back then it wasn't the cool thing to overly examine micro-aggressions, and protest/assault everything, everybody. Most people I know were there for the music and partying. I heard we played a show with a band that had a member that posted some racist shit some years back, I just fucking didn't pay any attention to it. If he started saying shit, would have been different story, but again wasn't even sure who the kid was. I met some racists when i was roadie for my friends band once in Illinois, and I got pissed and got in there faces, we kicked them out of the party. I don't stand for that shit , and I like to think most of us Boston Metal heads don't either. Do people realize that there are local racist and fascist bands playing today? Racist black metal bands Hraesvelger and Malacath did a split last year called 'White Mountain Supremacy'.
