New site? Maybe some day.

I liked 4/5, hated the controls for 1-3 so I didn't play them. Was there a 6 that I didn't know about? |

#6 was released in 2012. After that, Resident Evil: Revelations 2 was released in 2015.
Interesting to note that the new Resident Evil game (7) is First-Person. First FP game of the franchise if I'm not mistaken (as mentioned, haven't played since #3). Smart choice for the company and market because it's compatible with Playstation VR, but I've always have been and always will be a proponent of third person games. Also, I tried numerous VR devices in beta through friends that work for the companies and I really didn't care for any of them. The Microsoft HoloLens was mediocre at best. The HTC Vive was kinda neat for the "Tilt Brush" game. Young kids would love it. |

FPS? lame. Why not make it change between FPS and third person like FO4/Skyrim? |

I was a bit dismayed by it. I kept hitting my touchpad hoping it would swap to TPS. It's my uneducated guess that it's FPS to push the VR package with how popular they're becoming.
It's so expensive. I wouldn't go near it.

If NMS was on it, I would. A co-worker win it from taco bell. Then another co-worker bought it off them for 1/2 the price. We played it one evening and it was cool. I find that it's a bit blurry. I can't focus on things in the foreground. Playing a space game made me sick, but the office game was fun. |

playing this now. lights are off, headphones on. |

dislike it immensely thus far. been playing since 5. |

Update- deleted the game from my library around the time of my last post. Came back to it 3 weeks ago.1st person perspective was still annoying for a lot of the game as it relied on jump scares, but once all was said and done, it was a good, albeit complicated game. A certain point in the game seemed to stretch on forever like a maze and took a lot of wind out of the sails, but overall, it was a decent thriller when I wasn't lost looking for shit to move on to the next segment- but that's been a trend for me in RE games anyway. I might buy the RE2 remake that came out. |
