SUFFOCATION TO CO-HOST HEADBANGERS BALL
Relapse Records recording artists SUFFOCATION will co-host MTV2's
Headbangers Ball. SUFFOCATION will make an in-studio appearance on the
program's Saturday, July 24th edition, where they will be interviewed by
Headbangers Ball host / HATEBREED front man Jamey Jasta. Headbangers Ball
airs Saturdays from 10-12 PM EST on MTV2.
SUFFOCATION's, (vocalist Frank Mullen, drummer Mike Smith, guitarists
Terrance Hobbs and Guy Marchais and bassist Derek Boyer) new video, for the
song "Surgery of Impalement", was filmed at Philadelphia's Eastern State
Penitentiary and features the band performing in various locations in and
around the prison's locale. "Surgery of Impalement" is featured on
SUFFOCATION's recently released album Souls to Deny. Eastern State
Penitentiary is known previously for having held notorious gangster Al
Capone and was featured in the 1995 motion picture Twelve Monkeys. Still

Fresh off a high-profile performance at the inaugural Aggressive Music
Festival, SUFFOCATION will headline the upcoming "Mayhem Convention" on
Saturday, July 24th at the Palladium in Worcester, MA. The band will also
appear amongst the headlining acts at Hellfest 2004 this Friday, July 23rd
in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
