KEN MODE stream new album, 'Success'
Winnipeg power-trio KEN MODE are streaming their highly anticipated new album, 'Success' at Stereogum.com. 'Success' will be released in North America on June 16th. Regarding the new album, KEN MODE front man Jesse Matthewson comments:

"Some of you are going to love this, some of you are going to hate it. This is a time warp for us, back to a simpler time; to when we were 15 and excited to be listening to Nirvana, Cop Shoot Cop, the VSS, Drive Like Jehu, and Circus Lupus - and NOT fitting in with anyone we knew. This is the record we as a band needed to make, and as an artist, it is the most proud I am of any piece of art I have been a part of making, both sonically and visually. People will file these things where they want, so pigeon-hole away."

KEN MODE have returned from their European tour leading to-and-from OTB Festival in France, and Temples Festival in the UK. Following the European dates, KEN MODE will now embark on the 'Success' album launch tour across North America in mid June. The tour, which kicks off at The Shop in Toronto sees the band trek across Canada and North America before concluding in their hometown of Winnipeg on June 26th. Previously, KEN MODE streamed a video for the first track off 'Success' titled "Blessed" here. "Blessed" was directed by Christopher Mills (TEGAN & SARAH, RUSH, INTERPOL, MODEST MOUSE, etc), and shot live at Soybomb HQ in Toronto.

Recorded with Steve Albini (NIRVANA, THE PIXIES, THE JESUS LIZARD and more) and mastered by Bob Weston at Chicago Mastering Service, 'Success' features art by the band's longtime artist Randy Ortiz, and feature guest performances by Eugene Robinson (OXBOW) and members of FULL OF HELL.
