I love that thread man. They're all bent out of shape wicked. Now they want everyone to stop fighting. Half of those "fighting" posts are just explanations on what extreme metal is. Thank you all for showing interest in our Loud & Proud 04 "A Vote to Remember" Great news MTV Rock the Vote confirmed this afternoon.

Unfortunately the costs for this show is high and in order to donate as much as possible we are going to ask every band to sell 25 tickets @ 10 per ticket = $250. We feel that a 25 tickets a band to play an all ages show at the Palladium is pretty reasonable seeming proceeds are going to benefit one of the best causes in our country's history.

Donnybrook isent nu-metal have you herd there new stuff? granted its not metal but there still a very talented band, great music and lyric writers and good guys. (me and josh almost killd sum kid that suckerpunchd me at there last after party) as far as the departed goes i liked older soulshed newer shit suckd i dont think ive seen the departed but ill give my opion sunday.

donnybrook is one of those bands that are trying to jump trend from nu-metal to metalcore, which makes them the gayest band in new england

old donnybrook was very far from nu metal. it was just good. lot of wierdness and funk influences weird chanting and ALOT of mike patton influence. this was about 4 maybe 5 years ago when they where from maine still. i heard some of the newer stuff and it is different im still not sure what to call it.

I saw them in 2000 and they were nu-metal.

I just want to let you guys know that this is some hard shit, trying to make everyone happy. I wish there was someway I could have you all rock. I selected bands by who we have and have not worked with, I thought about the posts, who was and was not an a-hole and I tried to mix it up as much as possible. Not to mention we are having another Big show in January and an ALL AGES show at the WAG on October 16th, so keep yo head up and try not to bash me. hahahahahahaha

Here's the deal. We have enough time for 10-11 bands but I could only narrow it down to 17. Just in case bands cannot come up with the money or just don't feel like it, I figured to have some extra.

DEADLINE is FRIDAY AUG 13th

We have two options of payment for the tickets and yes you have to pay upfront $250.
1. You can mail your money order to our P.O. Box.
2. Meet Chris Lowry our Marketing Director at the Palladium next Wed August 11th at 7:00pm

Either way you must email me with a contact name, phone number, mailing address and what payment method you are going to be using.

To get on the bill is a first come first serve so mail your check or meet on wed ASAP.
You will all be given tickets/flyers and the set list will be determined on who sells the most.
I will announce the set times one week before the show.
