Due to internet gremlins the following is a correction of yesterday's OWL press release wrongly posted as a full stream.

In anticipation of its May 12th release, German death/doom supernova OWL has joined forces with Terrorizer Magazine to offer an exclusive stream of "We Ascend As We Fall" from the "Into The Absolute" EP.

As the revered UK mag exclaims, "Into The Absolute is one of their most adventurous outings to date, offering up four new slabs of sumptuously dark, doom laden metal goodness to sink your teeth into."

The EP is set for a May 12th release through the German label Zeitgeister Music. Recognizing OWL's unsettling atmosphere and musical brilliance, No Clean Singing stated, "Into the Absolute proves once more that OWL is a creative force to be reckoned with, weaving arcane, atmospheric melodies with an undercurrent of ominous power."

OWL was formed by Christian Kolf in 2010 and the multi-instrumentalist is joined by Patrick Schroeder on drums. Kolf also plays in German dark metal monsters Valbor and Schroeder has played in the highly acclaimed acts
Centaurus-A and Klabautamann.

OWL enlisted Markus Siegenhort from German black metal shoegazers Lantlôs to mix the EP, and mastering was handled by Simon Hawemann (War From A Harlots Mouth).

With material for the next full length already written, OWL plan to enter the studio in late 2014.

'Into the Absolute' will be available exclusively via the German label Zeitgeister Music as limited compact disc and as digital download via Bandcamp. A new t-shirt design will also be released alongside the EP, available individually and as a bundle package.
