If you guys are done with your junior high level bitching about high school level drama here's a music thread.
IMO, Music done in small cramped awkward spaces is a pretty special experience if done right. Some favorite personal experiences of mine that jump to mind are: Letters from the Dead in my dorm room, Ash Borer at PT-109, Betrayed By All in a farmhouse basement in Illinois, a band called "Anal Sex Conga Line With Robocop in the Back" that played the Living Room men's room probably way more that I'm not thinking of.
That Speedwolf/Ramming Speed show at WWTA like 2 years ago was phenomenal. Pretty big room but the place was so packed it felt like a small rehearsal space, it was a total death trap. I don't think there are any videos?

Memorable for me include
Against Me at a 2nd floor record shop. Room was packed and the floor was swaying up and down so much CDs were falling off their shelves. I thought we were all about to die.
Black Dahlia Murder's demo release show was in my old band practice room. Obscene temperature, half of the audience in the hallway crowded around the door because only a few people could fit in the room.
BTBAM in a basement, cops showed up just as BTBAM were about to hit their first notes. The owner of the house ran upstairs to try to stall the cops while BTBAM furiously tried to play as much as they could in about two minutes.
On a similar note, Backstabbers Inc in my friend's basement is another one that sticks in my mind. Nothing unusual happened, it was just a neat show.

Every Safari Lounge show I've ever been to (Suffer Now, Goratory, Ukrainian Burger Harvest).
I also saw a New Years Eve party turn into a basement show (in a really small basement in Somerville) in 2002. One of the best parties/shows I've ever been to.
I should clarify, those are different bands I saw there. Never saw those 3 bands at the same show. Would have been amusing, I suppose.

Community center show in Franklin; show got shut down by the first band ("Microwave Pizza", more or less a cross between GWAR, Old Skull and the Happy Flowers). Remainder of the show moved to tiny, hot-ass practice space (in August). Bands left were Victim 21 (pre-CFL) World War (pre-Defcon 4) and A Poor Excuse (pre-For The Worse). probably 12'x12' total. I definitely got the very-inquisitive landlord distracted and turned around walking back out of that place juuuust before our dumb drunk friend runs out of the space and pukes over the railing. Good times.
