but it's okay to hate something that is gay. |
|
anyone has the right to hate anything they want. |

dont hate what you dont understand? from what i understand DEP is just another shitty band signed to a shitty label that loves to overuse jazz time signatures, note runs, and suspended chords all without knowing how to do it properly.
miss machine is a terrible album, anyonw who likes it should kill themselves. |
|
i cant stand DEP. nor the 10000 clones they've created. |

I agree.
The only exception being PsyOpus. |

I don't know of any bands that have cloned DEP (and done a decent job at least), unless they're a third rate garage band who doesn't play out. The closest thing to DEP, which probably surpasses them musically would be Virulence's A Conflict Scenario. If DEP is a shitty relapse band why is their album Calculating Infinity lightyears away from most bands out there, especially ones from this area. The new one sounded pretty good musically, but I have no doubt it won't be as chaotic as Under the running board 7" and Calculating. Technicality over simplicity any day. PsyOpus are kings by the way, they just need to ditch the vocalist. |

i totally agree, the singer of psyopus is mediocre at best and the instruments totally overshadow the vocals. i found two mp3s of a band called 'stranglefuck' which im told was what psyopus was before they were psyopus. the two tracks dont have vocals and are the songs bones to dust (i think) and some other one off the cd. the difference is i think they use a drum machine and there are some added parts to the songs i guess they took out for psyopus. they are decent.
and the new dillinger is pretty fruity. |
|
actually id like to add the some of the new DEP tracks are almost pop music. i can see this stuff getting MTV play. |
|
fruity is the word I was looking for... it is fruity, and gay. |

don't know how to do it properly? explain. the time signatures seem to be correct to me. the suspended chords are formed correctly and guess what the scales are chromatic. weird man. |
