Today, HELLS HEADBANGERS announces the signing of Chicago high-energy rockers HIGH SPIRITS to an exclusive North American deal. The band is currently hard at work finishing the songwriting for its second studio album, with recording sessions set to begin at Electrical Audio in Chicago, Illinois USA later this month.
HIGH SPIRITS founder and frontman Chris explains: "After going it alone in the USA for so long, we're happy to be working with a label who can do everything we need and more! It's great news for the fans here, too, and we want to thank everyone who has made our unexpected journey possible!"
HIGH SPIRITS' studio debut Another Night (2011) won high praise from fans of all ages for its electric atmosphere and massive hooks, as well as earning the band a number of high-profile festival bookings in Europe, including Muskelrock, Rock Hard, and Keep It True. The band was also named "Newcomer of the Year" by Rock Hard magazine in Germany.
More live dates are in the works to coincide with the new album, which is currently scheduled to be released in April 2014, simultaneously in North America by HELLS HEADBANGERS and in Europe by High Roller Records.
