Walk in see Tribulation. Walk out and go home before shitty bands.

I like In Solitude. My only issue is their vocalist fits the songs well, but over the course of an album get very tiring. I really enjoyed them at Deathfest in 2011 but their last set at Palladium was weak when they played downstairs. I think they will do better in the smaller room.

I expect corpse paint kid and all of his dildo corpse paint friends will be at this.

I was at the downstairs show last year and I thought it sounded good. They definitely came off as a band that would sound better in a more intimate setting though, I do agree with that. I'll most likely be going to this.

Everybody knows the Palladium sound sucks. Everybody.

In Solitude was one of the surprise highlights of MDF 2011 for me

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Aug 2,2013 8:46pm
I think in solitude sounds like absolute ass live. Good cd from 2011 though.

I still don't know much about Jolly, but anyone who doesn't think Riverside is the absolute epitome of good modern prog, is wrong.

Wish I could distro @ this show.

I'm exhausted... But I'm here.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Oct 10,2013 8:54pm
I would give tribulation a 7/10. Good, but I had higher expectations.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Oct 10,2013 9:35pm
In solitude were better than the last time I saw them, but I still don't like them live. Their last song was the best one they played. Dig the CD. But not live.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Oct 10,2013 10:50pm
Watain played storm of the antichrist as there second song. That is all I wanted to hear so I was free to leave.

toggletoggle post by demondave at Oct 10,2013 11:02pm
Storm of the Antichrist is their best song, hands down.

Tribulation was good. Sound wasn't great but that's to be expected at the Palladium. I left after Tribulation and went to Destroy You Alot's house to drink Jack Daniels and laugh about all of the fags in silly corpse paint in the crowd at the Watain show.

toggletoggle post by Goatrider  at Oct 11,2013 2:10am
Tribulation was awesome. I agree with Kevord on the sound, though it was still more audible than I'm used to from the Palladium. I don't get In Solitude. Something tells me they need to play a really small venue to put on a good show.

Watain ruled. They are a band that clearly gives absolutely zero fucks about pleasing people and still put on a very cool show. Gotta respect that.

The fucking corpsepaint dweebs were the polar opposite. That shit needs to stop. Sacrifice a goat IRL before going on tour or stop trying to be 'theatrical.' No middle ground.

Back Patch Fagget laughs at corpse paint fags, oh the irony.

toggletoggle post by KEVORD  at Oct 11,2013 12:09pm
Back patches are a tradition in metal. Wearing corpse paint to a show when you are not in the band is not.

toggletoggle post by Goatrider  at Oct 11,2013 12:31pm
What if the Backpatch is a picture of the person wearing it in corpsepaint?

toggletoggle post by chrisREX  at Oct 15,2013 11:42am
I got one of those.
