New site? Maybe some day.
Here's a new and correctly titled thread for people to post their not elite CDs in. |
And on its way:
Part of my haul from last weekend's trip west. No pics just a list.
Anekdoten - Vemod (Japan import)
Anekdoten - Nucleus (reissue)
Comus - The First Utterance (some expensive version, I don't know why)
Dust - Hard Attack/s-t (new reissue)
Electric Asturias - Fractals (Japan)
Acoustic Asturias - Legend of Gold Wind (Japan)
Damn the Machine (finally....)
The Soft Machine - Vol 2
Other recent stuff:
Scanner - Hyper Trace and Terminal Earth reissues on Tribunal Records. These came with refrigerator magnets! Nice step up from the usual bonus stickers. Now I will have an inexplicable urge to listen to Scanner after late night fridge raids.
Tangerine Dream - 1974-1978 set
Slough Feg - Twilight/Deadmen/Traveller 3CD set |
just got a care package from No Visible Scars
Nightbitch
Earthlord
Scorched Earth
Slumber Room |
none of these are metal so I guess they aren't "elite" though that lonely is an eyesore 4AD compilation is the ballz. Also, the glowing blue thing is my new Lepai LP-2020 mini amp and it's the best 20 bucks I ever spent in my life. Get one if you want a perfect boost to simple bookshelf speakers. |
Doug signed them for me. |
From the record show Sunday.
Some stuff from a record fare months ago...
Warefare, Slough Feg, Satan, Deathrow, Savatage, Destruction

Ordered! It plays CD, cassette and 78, 33 and 45 rpm Records, "Preserve your favorite music with this Grace Digital Victoria Tunewriter III recordable turntable that records to your PC or Mac or cassette from vinyl records, CDs or audio sources with an auxiliary input." |
that's a pretty classy record player. I like it! |
It's awesome. I don't have that model but I've got one just like it. It looks great and has good features. I've got it hooked up to that thing I mentioned above and then sound is stellar. |
I have that amp too. You can't beat that price.
Portal, Revenge, Arghoslent, Antediluvian (DLP of Demos + 7" that came with that zine.) |
A man can't see, he can't fight. |

Old news, but still a good haul. Mostly from Martyrdoom. Also got a Death In June ticket before OMG SELLOUT and pre-ordered the GG Allin book because why not.

i just got a slaytanic wehermacht shirt for $7 on ebay and the quality is awful. |
I already have (and like) Death Magic Doom, but nobody sings like Messiah. Indeed a masterpiece that I needed to own. |
ive never even heard death magic doom...
you only REALLY need EDM, Nightfall and Ancient Dreams.. |
i just saw on Metal-Archives they released a live album, Epicus, Doomicus LIVE at Roadburn w/ Johan on vocals again. i bet that was AWESOME |
The singing on EDM was great. I wondered why he never did anything else of prominence, but I think I read he had vocal cord problems after (?). |
i just looked him up on metal archives and youre right, ive never heard of the other random projects he's been involved with. im gonna see if he wants to do vocals for my new solo project Union Steele. |
godflesh - pure
pitchshifter -submit
prong- primitive origins
brujeria - brujerizmo |
Yeah at Keep it True 2010 they did a special set of Epicus Doomus Metalicus with Johann Langquist on vocals. I didn't know they were doing a live record of it though. |
^ awesome. especially that last set |
That Saprogenic is their third album, right? I've got the first one. |
When Bitter Spring Sleeps - Coven of the Wolves
The Bobs - Biographies
