Fresh off the European tour with Vader, Jerusalem’s Melechesh aren’t slowing down anytime soon. They’ve just announced a string of North American dates, but most of the East Coast gets to suck it if they want to see Melechesh, Vreid, Lightning Swords of Death and Reign of Lies. Other than New Hampshire and New York date, there is nothing past Illinois, at least at this time, and unless you happen to be in Canada. More dates are promised, so stay tuned.

Never heard of Lightning Sword of Death, but I was impressed that their singer actually possess a lightning sword. Seem like a goofier, more American version of something between Marduk and Watain.

This, unfortunately, has been cancelled because of the actions of a pair of drunken assholes last week. Yes, the stabbing has caused the temporary closure of the venue effective today, and Nick (douchebag owner of the place) decided to tell Antoine today. Antoine tried everything to salvage this (this had absolutely nothing to do with him), but there was far too little time left to do anything. You can blame Nick for being a retard who doesn't know enough to hire legitimate security staff.
And yes, I'm fucking pissed. Everyone is. Far too much time and money was put into making this work for it to be ruined because some faggot had to talk shit and got stabbed as a result. Next time one of you goes to the Railroad and sees Nick, break his face for me, okay?
Also, most of the things that you've heard about Nick are true. He's an idiot who is basically just milking the Railroad for everything it's worth and does everything to try and convince others that he's hot shit when he's really just an obnoxious asshole and general manchild. Now that he's burned all his bridges, I can speak my mind about the dude because I'll probably never have to see his face again unless it's being ground into the pavement under my foot.
Would "legitimate security" prevent one drunken douche from stabbing another drunken douche? Methinks probably not. It is fucked though to not informer the promoter that the club is closed until the day before the show though.

Assuming you're not an anon troll, the stabbing could have been prevented if security was able to identify a potential situation brewing and take measures to prevent it. This is basic common sense when it comes to running a bar. Security isn't just there to check IDs and 86 problematic patrons.

This was something that had been building up for most of the night. Sure, fights will happen, but if your security is even halfway competent, the amount of fights that they'll prevent will greatly outnumber the amount that actually occur.
Also, Antoine's losing a shitload here, too. Not just revenue, but also his relationship with Rock the Nations, as Ed fucked them over and left a lot of things to clean up, and this very well may just kill any hope of working with them in the future.

I can confirm all of this. The Wicked Music crowd is the only good crowd that the place ever sees; when Antoine doesn't have a show there, the place is full of roided-out douchebags in Tapout shirts, bro-hos, juggalos, and various troglodytes from the Marlow area. I know that this is just Greg trying desperately to win a hopeless battle that he started, but yeah, I find the threat of "Nick" running me out of NH laughable when a). he's a laughingstock who will be told to fuck himself by any reputable bar/club owner and b). the only reason that he still has the Railroad and is not living on someone's couch or getting three hots and a cot in Concord is through sheer dumb luck and downright miraculous fortune.
