Signature Riff , in Association with Metal Kingdom, Invisible Oranges, Catharsis PR and Order of the Serpent are extremely proud to present the 2nd installment of MARTYRDOOM.......
This Festival has been expended to 3 days (Fri, Sat and Sun) the last weekend in June....
The Venue is Public Assembly (70 N 6th street Brooklyn NY), utilizing both front and back rooms.... Sets will alternate and overlap .... All Bands will do a minimum of 40 minute sets, headliners will play up to an hour or so..... Each Room will have their own sound guy, stage tech and room manager.... Each Room will be backlined....

Won't quite be the original lineup since Jeff Reimer died of a heroin overdose. Both "Ritual of Infinity" and "Chronicles of the Shadowed Ones" are killer underground Death Metal recordings.

With the exception of a few awesome bands, this lineup is not very impressive. Goes to show that a show with two or three great bands is ALWAYS better than a "fest" with two or three great bands and twenty-five shit bands. Plus, who the hell is Shitfucker?

All things aside, I would love to see Morpheus Descends, Morbosidad, and Ares Kingdom, and I would love to drink beers at the bar down the street while all the other bands play, so I might try to make this.

Fest was great last year. Mostly excited for Ares Kingdom and Beastial Mockery. Not really too familiar with a lot of these bands, but it was the same case last year and I ended up being really impressed with a number of them.

Pact,excited for anything coming from Moribund Cult,especially these guys or Sargeist,i thought I read that they were supposed to tour with Sargeist for a few shows awhile back but haven't heard or seen anything about it,but I know their album from 2012 is one of the best black metal releases of last year,period.Drowning the Light will be great,Beastial Mockery,Dana Duffy and Demonic Christ,,all we need is the last five bands to be killer,at least 2 or 3 of em'anyway I'll be in NYC at that time so I'm fuckin a goin

99% chance one of the unannounced bands is not Negative Plane, but they're NYC locals, so they play from time to time, or they might play one of the afterfest shows that's apparently happening monday and tuesday.

The main room at Public Assembly sucks. It bottlenecks at the bar mid audience and people don't move up to the front. But the second room works well and the sound overall was on point.

raw does not equal bad, but this just isnt good, its boring, uninspired retro garbage. where are the bands with talent? talent does not necessarily equal noodling and such, minor threat were a talented band and their songs are all comprised of three chords. i just want to hear music that sounds like it was put together by people who were inspired by more than just alcohol and boredom.
