I think Vektor is one of the better recent thrash bands. I've only heard Black Future, but it had great vocals and good, non-pretentious technical writing which I really enjoyed. Might go to both shows as well.

Yeah, it has been awhile since i've seen a band so on top of their already impressive shit. I'm always surprised their front man can pull of those vocals live on top of their ridiculous musicianship. Vaporizer really didn't do it for me, though.

Guitar geek fun fact. I was standing right up front and I was watching them tune between songs. They tune up. F standard. Makes sense given the RIDICULOUS vocal range but it's still something I've NEVER seen before.
