So you could plug it into a monitor/TV and it would be a functioning computer on it's own.

If you were going to do that for £80 why wouldn't you get a roku, wd hd player, apple tv, or Google tv?

And if you want to do more... You would need more. I got a $200 proliant server that sips 30w max and has 4 hd bays. I have it doing htpc and whs so I can play any movie off it AND it backs up ever computer in my house.
