From what I've heard, there will still be an Evil Dead 4 with Bruce Campbell; originally the idea was tossed, but apparently some other production team was trying to make their own Evil Dead 4 so Raimi put a stop to it and decided to make it himself. I definitely would much rather see that over this remake. |

What I meant is that it is nothing at all like Evil Dead, and although he plays himself and therefore plays someone who looks like Ash, the character Ash is not in the movie, nor is anything else that would connect it in any way to Evil Dead, outside of maybe a cheesy reference or two. |
