joostin, you should talk to nick or jake and get on the august 4th show they're trying to put together w/ ken haskell, letters from the dead, the failsafe device, tyag and deaddeaddeath. make that one your last show, it would be much better....plus, comeback kid and champion are playing the 22nd and i dont wanna have to decide which show to go to. |

IDN was like the first band we asked to play but joey said he was going to be in maryland. and i dont think there should even be a decision as to which show to go to on the 22nd. ill make you a 20min cd with me saying YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH in a highpitched voice with a drum machine playing the stereotypical posi hardcore two-step beat in the background. you can play the cd twice because comeback kid and champion sound the same. |

i've seen idn like 4/5 times...i've only seen comeback kid twice and i've never seen champion. and i don't care to see any of the bands other than idn at that show |

If you have to make that decision then you don't deserve to see the last IDN show.
Don't take that as me mouthing off. It's just that, think about it.... In Dire Need was the Seven Day Curse of their time, without question. In a time when everyone was trying to think of new and uninteresting ways of forcing emo into generic metalcore IDN started a band that neither metal kids, or hardcore kids would ever really accept but they succeeded anyways. Champion/Comeback kid....bought into a trend, copied everything that Bane and In My Eyes already did years before them, and succeeded only because of the politics of hardcore trends.
it's a choice between a show that undoubtedly going to be amazing, and memorable, and a show that will happen again next month with 2 more bands that sound exactly like eachother in some dumbass trend.
