Philadelphia, June 12, 2012 -- Baroness premiere "March To The Sea," the second song to be released from the forthcoming album Yellow & Green (July 17, Relapse Records), today via Pitchfork ( http://pitchfork.com/reviews/tracks/13741-march-to-the-sea/ ).

The single will be available via iTunes tomorrow, Wednesday, June 13.

Baroness premiered the album's first single, "Take My Bones Away," in mid-May with the song currently available via iTunes (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/take-my-bones-away-single/id524460713). The band recently shared a behind-the-scene clip featuring live footage from the band's recent North American tour as well as insight into the recording for the new album. The video can be viewed on Baroness' website at www.baronessmusic.com.

Baroness perform at the Orion Music & More festival on June 23 in Atlantic City before heading to Europe for a seven-week tour before returning to the States to perform at the Hopscotch Music Festival in Durham, N.C. on Sept. 6. Tour dates are:

Their two EPs were incredible, as was their first album.

Their second album was pretty mih, but when I saw them play it in entirety back in late 2010 it was surprisingly amazing live.

As for the new stuff, based purely off "Take My Bones Away", it'll probably be a painfully mediocre album - but then again, out of eighteen songs, i'm sure there will be at least a few standout tracks. Take My Bones Away just isn't one of them. haha

These new songs are awesome, definitely a step up from their previous efforts. The first two EP's were terrible, just a wannabe Mastodon. Red was decent, Blue was getting better, with more dance beats and electronic influence, but this new album is just off the chart awesome.
