Melodic Black Metal Duo Obsidian Tongue will be entering the studio on Saturday, March 17th to record "Volume I: Subradiant Architecture".
The band will stay for 4 consecutive days to lay down their first LP on tape at Mystic Valley Studio, an all analog recording facility. The result will be a full, organic Black Metal record with a generally old-school production vibe. No digital enhancements will be made to this recording session.

"Volume I: Subradiant Architecture" will also be the first formal release for DISSOCIATION RECORDS, a small DIY label that will be home to Obsidian Tongue, Truthseeker, Stone Crown, The Buried Necklace, and a couple other projects in the works. The label's website will soon be launched, and the record will be available to purchase online in May 2012.
