New site? Maybe some day.
Kinda wish this was at a bigger club though. Waiting 20 minutes trying to get a beer at that bar is the worst. |
Calculating the odds of this selling out right at 100% |
this will be sold out in like 5 minutes |
Will sell out faster than cock sparrer. |
According to the thread on lotsofnoise they are most likely doing half advanced ticket sales and half at the door. Wish this was at a bigger club with a bigger bar area. |
I'm going into Armageddon the day this show gets announced. Not fucking around with this one. Yeah, I figured it was gonna be at AS220 because... well just because. But I'll second the wish of it being at a bigger spot. |
Will sell out faster than cock sparrer. |
AS220 is nowhere near as large as Club Lido... duh |

Other upcoming TBC shows to be announced soon.
Dropdead are busy working on completing three new releases for 2012, as well as getting a revamped set list ready for the upcoming 2012 shows. Recording to be completed in the upcoming months with Kurt Ballou at God City Studios. 6 new songs to be released on three different split records with bands Dropdead like as friends keeping in the spirit of the 20th anniversary split with Converge from 2011, and from the same recording session. We are stoked to soon be sharing opposite sides of some records with Systematic Death (Japan), Ruidosa Inmundicia (Austria), and Brainoil (Oakland, CA). All bands we've played shows with and respect as people and musicians. All three will be released via Armageddon Label. |
This is fucking incredible!!! |

Here's to hoping I can get a ride and that they'll have tickets at the boston store. |

Armageddon would be doing the ticket distribution, not AS220, smartass. |
wait...what? who replaced Mieszko? |

I think it's the guy from Rotten Sound. I heard they might have rotating vocalists. Tomas Lindberg was rumored to be another possibility. |

sorry bro, forgot it was in your rental agreement to defend as220 to the death. |
Hope it isn't Lindberg, guy's a festering boil on every halfway decent Swedish band in need of a singer. |

Meh, I never found him to be the best vocalist ever, but I don't think he ruins bands.
In fact, I like Disfear better with Lindberg than with the singer they used before him. |
SHIT! I wish I saw this before I bought my ticket to the NY show.
driving to PVD > driving to NYC |
holy crap! will be there! |

With an actual screen name I hope. |

Not me. It's someone who refuses to change their screen name even though it's close to mine. |

I bet you "LIKE" a big meaty cock when you're not on Facebook. |
FUCK YES! just got 3 tickets for the Chicago show |
Providence show is the same day as the Boston Ghoul show, haha.
Makes my odds of going to the Brooklyn one even more 100% now. |
good show is good.
this show is too big for AS220 |
Would go if it wasn't at fart loving venue. |
this show is the 'Inquisition at the middle east' of grindcore |
NEXT FRIDAY IN CHICAGO!!!
Why'd Drop Dead drop off? No biggie really, just wondering |
not sure.they are still playing here in prov. i like them better than brutal truth but am def stoked 4 nasum. |
Oh wow, i got the 22nd off to. Hurrrrayyy |
I got my ticket. I'm probably not gonna bother watching Brutal Truth but definitely have some curiosity about Nasum... |
More bummed about missing dropdead and tragedy at dusk on Sunday |
Chicago has a band called Sick\Tired playing, they sound sick on the inter tubes. I've seen Brutal Truth, that was in 1997 though, I'm looking forward to them and Nasum |
Sick/Tired is awesome, definitely check them out if you can. |
Brutal Truth probably peaked back when they decided to write songs, not just riff-drum combinations. |
Nasum was amazing. Like the recordings but louder and faster. This Rotten Sound guy is a killer singer, i think he sounds better than Miezcko.
Brutal Truth....I always get bored half way through their sets. This was the case again. They are an incredibly tight band, just too much wall of noise for me
The other two bands, don't know, went to the other side of the bar and watched Celtics blow a 20 point lead while drinking Delirium Tremens on TAP
The opener, SICK/TIRED, is fucking SICK! IF they ever tour book them, you won't be disappointed. |
This is gonna be too much fun. |
Can't wait to see Nasum. Can't wait to upper deck the AS220 bathroom. Keep Brockton out of Providence. |
My friend has an extra ticket for this cause Asians aren't trustworthy. PM me if you want it. |
I wouldn't make it down there until like 10pm so I'm sticking to boston. |
while drinking Delirium Tremens on TAP
Most incredible thing I've heard all day... |
I'm going, but I can't guarantee excitement. I'm really going to try though. |
Ah, fuck it. I've been depressed all day but just managed to cheer myself up by drawing stupid shit. Get excited. |
FYI:
Show is not over by 11:00pm. |
Dropdead just finished their set. The place has filled up |
So BT and Nasum still to go on? |
Kevin sharpe complete with cowboy hat, pot belly, beard and barefoot
The drummer makes the most ridiculous faces. I can't tell if this is normal or if he is just high. Or both |
Hoak rules. You sound see him with TFD. |
Should we fear that these are his sex faces? |
If you watch just Burke(guitar) and Hoak, you'd swear they are retarded. |
Lead singer from converge hopped on stage and sang a song |

oh my god,yes
Nasum should tour all the time. Who cares about the blah blah they're cashing in blah. They played songs from all the albums , and I was pleased that they played Fury. The rotten sound singer even imitated the vocal effects at the end of the song.
That song is just awesome - anyone who liked it on Shift should check out the original version that they recorded for Helvete. Lord knows why they didn't put it on that LP. (its on Grind Finale). It's superior to the Shift version. Fucking love that song.
Nasum was surprisingly kick ass! They tend to get stale to me pretty fast on their recordings, slick production doesn't really work with blast beat repetition, but their sound live was really killer! I honestly think they would have benefitted from playing in a larger room and I don't say that often. Super tight playing too.
Brutal Truth, I didn't watch much of them. God bored incredibly quick.
Dropdead's set was pretty killer. They played a lot of songs in their time frame and the new ones they played kicked ass. I didn't feel much like getting in the pit tonight so I mostly stayed off to the side, but it was just as rewarding making more of an effort to listen to the songs rather than hurt myself. |
I wish I went, but I would've had to drive from Andover to Providence during rush hour to get there. |
quality fucking show. dropdead fucking slayed, played shitloads
of songs i haveny heard live before. brutal truth were meh...fuckin
drums were non existant, never a big fan anyway. nasum slayed my
balls off. played shit from most of their releases and killed them all.
very satisfying night. |

same in Chicago. They didn't mic the cymbals for Brutal truth. DUH! On purpose too, I saw him say no to the sound guy, just his high hat was mic'd
Awesome show, glad it was only 3 bands; I don't think I have the attention span for more than 3-4 bands on a show anymore. Dropdead and Nasum fucking killed, but I couldn't handle more than 10 minutes of Brutal Truth. I'm a fan, but their live sound is so messy and Hoak is the worst fucking drummer; it is beyond me how anyone can think otherwise. His blasts are non-existent (seriously, dude just rubs the stick on the snare drum after the first few hits), his fills are sloppy as fuck and he has no chops at all. I thoroughly enjoy his drum faces though.
I enjoyed CWAF covering BT, that's about all I got to offer here. |
Dropdead and Nasum fucking killed, but I couldn't handle more than 10 minutes of Brutal Truth. |
I don't think I watched Brutal Truth for more than 30 seconds straight during their whole set and I only went in maybe a couple times. They were absolutely abysmal. |
It's interesting because I saw Brutal Truth at Church a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed them.
I will agree that Hoak's faces are fucking weird. |
I've just never been a fan regardless. Whatever. The other two bands made the night well worth it, no need to complain. |
I've always been a Brutal Truth fan; loved that they opened with my favorite BT song, Birth Of Ignorance, but the drums absolutely kill my enjoyment of them live now. |
Drop Dead was good. Brutal Truth played every song I asked em to, so that ruled. Loved that first record. Some band played third but i went for pizza. |
How did I just notice that the thread title says "ASS220"? |
