Review in the new heartattack:
Two bands with similar yet distinctive sounds. Both start with a liberal dose of thrashy hardcore but then they diverge from there. Old Sarum stick more to the thrash recipe with lots of blast beats and sing-along, mid-tempo parts. They throw in some slower, more intense parts as well to keep things interesting. Raise The Curtain take things a more metally direction and get very close to the mosh-metal boundary in some spots. They throw in some more melodic parts as well and overall remind me a bit of Bury Me Standing. Both bands have screamed vocals for the most part and the lyrics are a mix of the political and personal. A solid release worth checking out. BH
