Terminally, Your Aborted Toadstool? |
see what my fisheye does?
verry cool |
deadwait: they were a surprise addition to the bill. It was definitely cool that some of the members stuck around for the whole night. The music was ok. sort like back of tha neck covering SFU tracks. there was this over-laying sound of devildriver in their music that I wasn't that down with.
dispute: I think they had more members when I saw them last. I'll admit it wasn't as good as the last time, but I think hey still have some great potential.
burn in silence: they sounded pretty damn good. I think this is a band that could grow on me more and more. I met up with them at mc'ds on the way home. the singer's a trooper.. he had a killer sun burn.
terminally your aborted ghost: well... it started really badly. Matt's head was all sorts of messed up. it sounded like ass for 1 1/2 songs. it sounded like tyag recorded on a tape player and then send over a highscool pa system. then they stood around for a few minutes. Once they actually got going, they were the shining stars of the night. it was pretty awesome sounded and people actually danced a bit. In the end, the audience was cheering for 1 more and scott lee like they go back on stage to do another song.
tempus mori: I'd never seen them before. it sounded a lot like the newer all that remains. there was a lot of melodic guitar parts and clean vocals.
burial: even though the singer was super drunk, it sounded pretty good. I think the vocals could have been a bit higher. Though I'm probably going to be forever comparing how they sounded to the last show in albany. some guy from some other band came out and sung along. |

This is Shawn from Dispute. Thanks too all the bands and people that came. Especially thanks to Scott and the Rev, keeping the scene alive. |
was it just me,

all the hardcore regulars seemed to stay away from this metal show. |
that chick in the red shirt had big jugz0rz |
im sorry i suck at guitar everybody. feel free to shoot me. |
wow, the local scene is getting pretty weak man....dunno what else to say. saw the show, realized on the way home i wasted my money. |
ps. devon, you should see if your little friends at keebler can sponsor your shows. they should bring nice baked cookies and crackers to all the good metal boys and girls. |
the METAL scene is pretty weak in MA... the hardcore scene is huge. its gay. |

Deadwait has had 6 members for the last 2 years..5 before that. Most of em stayed all night...I enjoyed em..but use to seeing them at larger venues in CT and New York...All in all, They are something a little different than what I've heard around lately. I like the dual vocal thing...just mu opinion....RISE was my favorite song. |
