At what exactly? I'm just promoting a show dude. Think I'm gonna do it in the shit-talking thread?
So a thread discussing a genre hop is a shit talking thread? Grats on getting them to play Ralph's. They'll bring a crowd. I wouldn't call a discussion on their genre flop "shit talking", although I guess it can be seen that way. Bottom line is they have a fan base and it will be good for MT.
Hopefully us assholes didn't ruin anything.

This morning, I had an exciting adventure at the Worcester Court House that is directly related to other threads on this board. Because I've had to miss work and rarely sleep at my own house lately, I'm low on funds. Donations of hard liquor poured directly down my throat and/or injected into my blood stream will be most appreciated.
Also, anyone who would like to place bets over the Tardy Butler vs. Douchebag Patrol no holds barred cage match that will be occurring in the huge mud puddle in the parking lot between bands, come see me.
True, however, if it was Metal Friday, I wouldn't be able to stay past 10 since I work this weekend. No work on Wednesday means I can happily combine metal, beer, and a double dose of these damn sudafeds that are keeping me from tearing my own eyes out of my face... the results could be disastrous, but I'm game!
now i'm going to bed cuz i gotta be at ralphs again in like 6 hours

Three Wolves in the Throne Moon has good guitar tone. And there's moments where I was almost feeling it. But then the "They don't want to be doing this" sunk back in. And then they dragged out sections way too long.
great sets by the opening bands. i wanted to like Abigail Williams but couldnt get into their tunes.
yeah, all the trend-hopping stuff aside i tried giving 'em a chance on musical merit alone but thought they were pretty boring. not the worst shit out there, just kinda uninspired. that said, it seemed like the instruments they were playing were the ones actually being amplified, so all in all not the cheeziest band we've ever played with. mythology and dysentery were both good. not a bad turnout for a last minute tuesday night show. thanks chris for having us.

Got there late and only saw nachzehrer and AW. Nachzehrer sounded a lot different with only one guitar. I thought the drummer of AW was awesome. Playing to a click track helps. The songs were kinda boring. Not a terrible band, just a little boring.

AW was a good listen and I enjoyed what they were doing, but it sounded like paint by numbers black metal and that they were playing it cus they had to. Seemed like their hearts weren't in it. Also the wolves tshirt was wicked lame.

Glad I was able to make it and show my support to Chris and this show though!

Why would you want to like this band based on the name alone?
i'm not one to necessarily dislike a band just based on their name. i didnt know much about them other than they used to be more of a deathcore outfit apparently. i wanted to like them because i hoped they might have something new and interesting to bring to the table.

Who the hell annihilated the ladies room??? Paint was peeling off the walls in there!!!
good openers, Abigail Williams was boring, the band members couldn't have cared less that they were playing. Wren put it best, paint by numbers "black" metal. sounds like every single other band calling themselves "black metal" nowadays.
they also don't sound anything like old emperor. i must have been listening to some other old incarnation of the band. i'd say they sound more like a lazy agalloch these days.
