New site? Maybe some day.

This is the natural progression of the genre. Smells like figs and patchouli. |

Headlining next year's Scion fest or I'll eat my Peruvian alpaca wool pom pom hat with matching knit beard. |
hammered dulcimer + hipsters = hammering hipsters |
They're probably opening for Agalloch next time they're playing NYC. |
I have decided to ignore this band and it's fans. That is all. |
Not black metal. carry on. |
This hasn't been posted here yet? |

I'm actually listening to this, and it is neither listenable the way normal music is nor correctly unlistenable the way unlistenable black metal needs to be. It's not interesting, novel, or even particularly original sounding. This is on the level, and with the sound, of Cradle of Filth ripoffs from Beijing and Seoul from five and ten years ago. Other people have had these ideas already, done them better, and still given up on it. That this idiot got as far as a double album bodes poorly for his giving up on it in the future. |

"There's going to be one band called Cult of Linnaeus that's going to write a song about the godfather of botany, Carl Linnaeus. It's an amazing song — very heavy, very doom, very downtuned, very crushing."
sure, take a fleshed-out science and use tired phrases to inject some unnecessary esotericism. guy sounds pretty serious. |
new doom band - Galapagos. turtle shells for drums. |
Whoever is responsible for making this horrible racket should be beaten mercilessly. What the fuck did I just listen to? |
Would be sweet if it didn't sound super lame. |
This sounds EXACTLY like Microwave Pizza when they were using a dino keyboard, and Queef's stage gear consisted of a priest's robe and a black hockey mask (which makes them easily as black metal as some street musician), only they were playing in the Franklin Community Center in the late 90s and not some art space in San Francisco. Therefore I declare SIMPSONS DID IT. |

The guy behind this is the dude from Maelstrom Webzine. |

Vocals are laughable. Otherwise, it's fairly interesting. Will not download though. |
