It's been out in Europe for a bit but not coming out in the states for a few weeks. Sure way to ruin US sales, as everyone on this side of the world just downloads it before it's released here. Motorhead did the same thing with The World Is Yours and it cost them thousands of unit sales. Excellent marketing strategy!

I doubt Vader are counting on U.S. album sales to pay the bills.

toggletoggle post by thirdknuckle  at Aug 31,2011 9:16pm
No, but their US record company probably is, and they are the ones who dish out the US tour support money. Or not.

toggletoggle post by thirdknuckle  at Aug 31,2011 9:17pm
And you're right; Vader probably have 'enough' money.

I hope so. Nigga owned half of the Empire.

Vader tours here more often than most worthwhile U.S. death metal acts.

^ Amen ^ I'm kind of all set with seeing Vader live for the rest of my life. Seen em more than enough and the last few times were relatively soporific.

toggletoggle post by thirdknuckle  at Aug 31,2011 9:28pm
I actually found them to be rather Vaderiffic

Do you also like mayonnaise, bananas or Hawaiian people?

indupitably

I was under the impression that Vader was on salary, not a part-owner in the Empire. Although even if he was just on salary, he probably didn't have to pay for much.

True. I heard his benefits package was out-of-this-world. He took a better job after all; rumor has it the Jedi Council lacks workers comp.

This is ALWAYS what I've pictured when I heard this band's name. Seems waaay more appropriate to me.

Yeah I have always pictured the wrestler and not Darth Helmut

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Sep 2,2011 10:55am
Wrestling is fake. Star Wars happened in real life.

In February 1990, Vader faced Stan Hansen at an All Japan versus New Japan supercard show. Before Vader entered the ring, Hansen accidentally broke Vader's nose with his rope. The two exchanged very stiff punches, one of which popped Vader's right eye out of its socket, although it was contained by the swelling in his eyelid. Vader took the time to take off his mask and push the eye back in the socket before finishing the match as planned. Vader subsequently required four surgeries to repair the damage to his face.

I'm sorry, what's real, now?
