IN SOLITUDE joins DOWN for September US tour!
DOWN officially announces a September jam with the fans in the cities they missed during their spring 2011 tour. The NOLA super group goes over, under and across America in an effort to execute an intimate night of shared hard rocking, metallic celebration!

Hand-picked by the brotherhood to be taken under their burned black wings will be Swedish occult metallers IN SOLITUDE (Metal Blade), and southern psychedelic prog-rockers PONYKILLER (Housecore).

IN SOLITUDE has been declared as "one of the hottest new metal acts around" by Decibel Magazine while Metal Hammer described the band as "Structurally and melodically complex, densely layered yet dynamic and fluid, often enthralling, always engaging, this is a metallic Feast." The band's Metal Blade debut, The World.The Flesh.The Devil was released on May 24th and stands as a "trad-metal charge of Iron Maiden with doom metal's ironclad grey" according to Kerrang! Magazine. Why's everyone in such a hissy-fit? This just seems to indicate that there'll be a full east coast run at another time. Sheesh.

Also, the "band" doesn't "snub" anyone - A band'll play anywhere that they get a viable offer that fits the schedule. So if your favorite (whatever) plays close but not in your backyard, it's because they did not get a viable offer from a promoter that fit in the schedule. Blame promoters / possibly booking agents, not acts.

Don't tell us how to live.

Shows are easy to figure out according to trolly-troll. Magnets on the other hand... No one will ever know how the fuck they work.

I dig the shit out of In Solitude, because they were shit hot live when we played with them. Great band.
