I really stopped listening after Leviathan... Maybe I'm just ignorant? I feel like the few songs I have heard post Leviathan had been pretty much cheese. Those first two albums though are the perfect update of heavy metal with a southern rock twinge. I guess I should listen to the new stuff and find out.

Who gives a fuck about live vocals! Its not like your seeing them live each time you listen to the album. Most metal had shitty vocals where you can't understand the words anyway. Only a few growlers can sound sick and you can stil hear what they are saying. So if a band can pull off cleaner/ rough vocals they should do it rather then each band sounding like the COOKIE MONSTERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
