I know not many on this board are GWAR fans, but for those who are, I went to the show last night in new haven. They played 4 songs off AMBD, 5 off violence has arrived, 2 off Ragnarok, 2 off This Toilet Earth, and 3 or so new songs which were awesome, Their victims included courtney love, george bush, osama bin laden, jon kerry, mike tyson, the pope, and gor gor. One of the top 3 shows Ive seen in my life.\m/\m/\m/\m/\m/\m/

They keep posting new tour dates all the time. Keep checking their website. I wouldnt be surprised if they did make a stop at worcester, assuming thats where youre from. I just didnt want to assume they would come since Ive been patiently waiting for them for like 2 years.

Gwar's music is so fucking shitty

It isn't that shitty, and plus it's supposed to be a joke and a comedic stage show. Not liking them because of their music is like not watching porno movies because they have shitty plots.

i am quite aware that it's supposed to be a joke but since i could really care less about lyrics or anything, that just leaves me with shitty music. i enjoy a couple of the songs from This Toilet Earth but other than that, they suck. their live show is pretty decent but it would be good if they had good tunes to go with it.

I understand, but just cause you don't like it doesn't mean you have to say that it's shitty and they suck. Those are presented like facts, whereas what you're expressing is your own opinion.

i didnt say that they sucked... i just think they could try a little harder and make some real headbangin music to make their show a little more enjoyable.

i was referring to their albums, not the band themselves. they could very well make some pretty rockin music, seeing as how creative they are, but when they just stick to the same old punk-ish like "metal", its just aggravating. because i want to like their music, but they just arent helping me out much.
