I hate putting other bands names as influences, but saying "metal" band needs singer doesnt really cover it. we got stuff that sounds like slayer, other stuff that sounds like Kingdom of Sorrow. I'm still bitter about being talked into buying The More Things Change when it came out. It had to be the most boring record I ever owned. Every generic metal magazine in the planet couldn't stop gushing over it. 3 years later Sevendust repackages the exact same album and gets called a nu-metal band. Call a spade a spade folks.

Through the Ashes of Empires is pretty solid save for the whiney clean vox in some spots. the solos are at least fairly shred worthy.

Burn My Eyes is a classic, but I can understand why people don't like MH. That's really the only album I enjoy by them, but it isn't that bad.
Speaking of Nu Metal, we were listening to WAAF in the work van today and Disturbed's new song came on. LOL at how they're trying to change. I love all the Nu metal bands trying to be more melodic and talented now.
