Don't you have copy/paste on your phone? |
How the fuck did those foghats in Gone Astray get on this? They suck maximum cock and love the Jesus. |
C+P doesn't work well in skyfire. It took out the returns.
a wanted awakening (main stage) are on now. The music is pretty good. The cleaner vocals don't sound terrible which is good. Some of it sounds like the red chord, but with more melodic guitars. They are the ones that won the break throug music thing. |
I have heard zero of these bands. |
I've heard of three of these bands, and all three are NOT metal or hardcore. |
I can't believe you went to this! |
your last request (second stage) young kids, deathcore, but some moshing and the singer had a justin beiber shirt on. Unfortunately he also had justin beiber's old hair cut. Oh well. |
NEMSSLGPF
New England Make Sure Scott Lee Gets Paid Fest |
ITT: Aaron does shameful things... for profit? Or is this the first inkling of his newfound alternative lifestyle? |
gone astry I think their music might have gone a little astry. It sounded muc more like emmure than I remember. |
The next band I believe is on The End Records. Although that may mean little in 2011. |
ITT: warranted homophobic slurs |
They were on the main stage.
us from outside (second stage) sort of an arsonists get all the girls clone. Not bad, but not really my style. |
What's the crowd like. Are all the tickets sold? |
I really don't like the term "homophobic" - I'm a big fan of the gays. Fun folks right there. However... even Harvey Firestein would concede that this is Boss Fag fest. Gayer than Stonewall; and far more worthy of persecution. |
@goat: if you think about it, isn't rttp founded upon the notion of disgruntled dudes getting sweaty and aggro with each other, while rev takes pictures? Gay like Christopher Lowell in a glam metal outfit. |
And with that said, he's just covering the scene of local aggressive music, no matter how ring-pop wearing or hair flipping they are. [/aril] |
So fucking glad I'm elsewhere. |
Well put, Alex. I've always thought metal was inherently homoerotic. Just look at the Black Metal obscurity pissing contests. Dudes trying to impress dudes... in leather. And denim. Halford done sold us down the river. And Aaron is the ferryman. (Fairy man?) |
There seriously aren't any guys without their shirts on here at all. If this doesn't pick up, I'm stealing a bunch of monster drinks and leaving.
city lights (main stage) holy pop punk! I could actually see myself digging them on my ipod about as much as I dig when four year strong comes on. Similar style and caused one of the other photogs to lean over and say "new england metal and pop punk fest" |
counterparts (second stage) I see way too many bands cause I don't really remember this band. Wait, this is legacy not counerparts. Ah, my brain feels better. I guess i haven't seen them before, but they were pretty good new hardcore. The second the started, so did the mosh. THE mosh. |
Yup, the only band I've heard for today is vanna, they're decent, but is like to see the metal bands... |
ITT: Alx is the smartest person in the room....and outs everyone |
too late the hero (main stage) ok, this is mark's (mercury switch) brothers band. His brother is an animal too. I have no idea how sweet his butt tattoo is though. Probably pretty sweet.
with words (second stage) cool that they are on this. They always have a really good stage show. Plus it is pretty packed here and not very packed downstairs. |
Ugh.. lost what I typed about across the sun. They were metalcore, but if metalcore was rooted in older heavy metal. More nevermore than unearth. They tey busted into a cover of journey's separate ways. A song older than anyone in the front row and most of them only know it from the "night sounds" compilation sold on comedy centra after 4am.

...and this is just the tip of the gay iceberg folks, stay tuned! |
Not just the tip. Blue has seen the tip.
an early ending (second stage) so starts even younger kids taking over the upstairs for the day. |
Not just the tip. Blue has seen the tip.
I check his MySpace from 6 years ago, and this is accurate. |
mamphis may fire (main stage) stage banners, but I had the set list so I knew who they were. They would probably be much better in a smaller venue like where I saw the greenery? I think that was at tha old bank. Anyhow, the guitarist stage right gave me all sorts of awesom when it came to snapping pictures |
Memphis....
capitals (second stage) wow, i was surprised to see members of with words up there. I thought for a second it was a joke mosh band tossed together. But more seriously, they were excellent. Souned lik 90's mass hardcore/metalcore. Older kids might dig this. |
crimson armada, the (second stage) I could have done with out the rapping. I remember this band's name, but done remember why. I think they played before. |
I just hear that a plea for a purging dropped and the greenery is doing an extra set today next upstairs. |
The Rev knows a sports figure's name? WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT? |
Smooch any dudes yet, Rev? |
armor for the broken (main stage) the singer makes that pedofile mustache look extremely pedofile.
the greenery (second stage) by far the best set of the entire day. The singer was on the floor the whole time. Also, the crowd moshed hard. Also, yes goat, finally there was a dude without his shirt on. Thank fuck right? I was about to just leave and put someone in acoma with my hummer. |
I can't believe you went to the first day. Shameful, Aaron. |
I can't believe you.
a bullet for a pretty boy (main stage) ahahahahahahaha
dr acula (second stage) dr acula or a bullet for a pretty boy. Choices choices. So dr acula is some sort of cheese dip or something? Apparently the band is not ICP influenced or something no clue. They had a ton of smoke and kept blowing circuit breakers that no one could find. |
I have also been to almost every single band of every day of metal fest since the second. |
arsonists get all the girls (main stage) ok, lots of energy. The bassist kept pushing the monitors into karen (metal union)
attila (second stage) smelly and hot. Lots of stage diving.
lions lions (main stage) i forget they have the gj-tattoo singer. Great set, great energy. |
Attila's set sort of reminded me of that TSA vidoe. |
Your reviews are the best. |
My phone keeps dropping letters which pisses me off. |
stray from the path (main stage) most amount of people watching from the side of the stage that i have seen in a long time. SFTP is a band that people in other bands love. The singer looks a lot like lamp. And by that, I mean short and white. Not sure if lamp has a sweet neck tattoo. I guess I will have to ask.
our last night (main stage) it is really funny to me still that the singer was 12 or 13 when i first shot them. They actually had a really long set. Most of which, I walked around outside thinking "wow, they are still on? Crazy!" And they were. Crazy. |
I was hoping ontheshit would play, no dice. |
They're too big for this amateur hour fest. |
Why do I waste my time on such hobby rocker endevors? |
I just took the best picture of my life. It was of attack attack and i m in the picture. |
BTW: at home working on pictures. |
over 2K pictures from the first stage and 1K from the second stage. Attack Attack! was boring and Vanna blew them out of the water... but the Attack Attack picture I referenced above is the best picture I have ever taken. |
there is a picture in the our last night pictures of a girl with a chest piece that is a nintendo controller. |
I have also been to almost every single band of every day of metal fest since the second. |
You're like Noah's Ark... for faggots |

I have never heard any of these bands |
oscar, you haven't heard of any of these bands cause they aren't on a comedy tour. |
from what it looks like, this show was basically a comedy tour. |
It looks like they turned off the gravity for the first bunch of pictures of Attack Attack... |
Its like a white power fest... for faggots
