Whats the most metal drug trip you've ever had?

Mine was when I took 2 hits of very good 40X salvia. At first I blacked out, then I found myself in an infinite black abyss, where I diddnt even know who I was, it felt like I was there for an eternity too. Then I started to see what was actually happening again and started remembering who I was, but it felt like all my memories were being implanted in me and that they were false, and that all of existance was just a false illusion, and the infinite eternal black abyss was what was real.
The feeling persisted a bit after the trip ended, I kept thinking the abyss was coming for me and that it would just crush existence.

I had a flashback once where these voices started laughing at me because I thought this world was real.

Needless to say, it was my most metal trip ever, no hippy shit.

So whats your metal trips?

tripped on 5 grams of mushrooms at Fear Factory show when i was in highschool. spent half the night outside of the building chainsmoking cigarettes and trying avoid melting in the wall. drove home in the rain still tripping and mananged to drive down everyone one street going the wrong way before making it home.

I would say that anyone taking salvia extract* would have what YOU would refer to as a "metal" trip. I always say that Salvia's evil, but what i really mean is that it has really dark trips; it makes you see almost nothing but black and red, it makes most people feel like their skin isn't quite attached/crawling, it makes you feel like you're being either crushed or stretched depending on the user, and LOTS o' folks say that they feel the darkness/void pulling on them. I don't recommend anyone to do this drug. While thepsychologist claims that his trip was "metal", i bet that's how he looks at it right NOW.... i bet right AFTER it happened he was calling it Terrifying. I've done DMT freebase, ayahuasca, and IV, Belladonna, Datura, & Brugmansia, heroic doses of LSD, LSA, PCP & Mushrooms, smoked toad venom, done Nutmeg extract, eaten Mescaline (among about 20 types of psychedelic cacti), and Ate/Smoked/IV about 15 research chemis (Tryptamines/Phenethylamines) and the ONLY trippy drug i would never recommend is:




SALVIA

I thoroughly enjoyed Salvia the times I've done it. I can see why people don't like it.. but I thought it was pretty cool. It felt like I was in a 3rd person movie for about 5 minutes.

Drenamine and Saliva are the worst drugs ever.

Yeah the first time I did salvia I was pretty fucked up afterward, I think I had a temporary paranoid psychosis (thought the void was after me for 2weeks), but I came to terms with it by smoking salvia again and again until i learned how to deal with it. (13 times)

Chewing salvia is much easier to control and less intense, so I would recommend that over smoking it to most people.

well if you want to get literal i took 2 cubes of some quality acid and saw useful idiot. that was my most "metal" trip ever. another time i took 5 hits of ridiculous acid and played frisbee for 12 hours.

2 hits of the best sid I ever had on the way to practice last summer. After practice on the way home, blasted Times of Grace and heard shit on that album I'd never heard before.

I would just like to say that i obviously could care less what other people take, I just want to make sure that people know what they're getting into. The way you describe it, I wouldn't hesitate to try it (that is if i hadn't done it too many times already) and i just want peeps to know that it can get REAL dark and scary with that one.... i know that first post may have come across slightly confrontational, but i totally support any and all expansion of thought and mind through the use of psychedelics... i just want people to know that there's a risk of real heavy traumatizing effects when using Salvia.

5 grams of mushrooms in the middle of a sand pit in the middle of the woods on a hot summer night under a crystal clear sky with the full moon glaring down while a light fog rolled over the hills around me. singlehandedly revamped my entire outlook on everything. that was 3 years ago this year and i still get the chills thinking about it.

My favorite was pretty simple. Sabbath Vol.4 and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath on shrooms in my room when I was like 17. It just ruled on every level. Listened to each album like 10 times in what seemed like 10 minutes.

A clear warm summer night, I took two bottles of mineral oil and a cup of psyllium husk and sat on the top of a playground slide. Once it kicked in, reality moved around me and I ended up at the bottom of the slide, coating it with gravy and beans

I did it without knowing what the hell it was... My buddy said it was like going back in time and seeing your past flash before you but you could also feel like you might die.... I thought that sounded great!

Power ripped it twice off a 3 ft bong and then it was as if a void of complete terror and madness swept through the room... My friends said I was looking through a window speaking in tongues.

I remember falling on the floor and it felt like everything was spinning in circles and the rug was wrapping itself around me. I could not tell which way was up or down or left or right. It also felt like I could not breathe and I was going to be stuck in it for eternity.... There was also the sense of being completely erased. It was definately horrific...

When coming down from it I kept thinking/visualizing the biblical passage where the guy possessed was saying to the shepherd " We are Legion, for there are many of us" and then all the farm animals run off the cliff...

Twas fucked and its pretty odd that this drug is actually legal... It had none of the transcendent effects that mushrooms or lsd has for me... It was just complete hell... In retrospect I'm glad I did it but I don't plan on it again anytime soon...

I also spoke in tongues when i did the 60x extract. I packed a very large glass bong full of it, ripped it in one hit with a butane lighter (supposedly you lose 50% of the Salvinorum-A if you don't use a torch) and then it hit:

All i remember is being in a chamber.. it was all shades of red everywhere, and i was stuck in the wall, which was rotating as though being lodged on the end of a ferris wheel spoke. The big problem being that i saw the rotation taking me into an area void of matter that was literally sucking all of the electric energy out of the air around me. I saw that i was to be crushed in the black whole that i had conjured, and the only thing i could do was watch..

What ACTUALLY happened (told by my best bud and partner in exploring other dimensions, our souls, and the logos.) : Jim stood up and ran full on face first into a wall. He was SCREAMING nonsense and couldn't stay on his feet. He fell back hard, right on my glass coffee table (RIP) and then shot up to his feet again and tried to claw his way out of our front door and onto the main street in Alston that we lived on. After restraining him in a very sloppy full-nelson for a few minutes he started asking me what the fuck i was hugging him for.....


The reason so many people say that this shit is NOT a big deal is simple. It has a very defined *threshold dose, and that dose is considerable higher that you can easily get from smoking the leaf by itself. Even most of the extracts don't have enough salvinorum-A in them for you to trip from them without the use of butane lighter, and a glass bong. So what ends up happening is that most kids that try it don't do NEARLY enough, and they feel something profoundly lame, that's not even as strong as a single hit of pot, and then they brag about it to friends who in turn don't do enough of the drug... till people like myself, Paul, or the original poster try it, do it right, and get fucking bent over by it.



*Threshold dose: an amount of a substance needed to reach the level of intoxication that people associate with the drug. Any amount below this level will feel like almost nothing, then even 1milligram over, and you can be sailing through dimensions of hell.

getting threatened with a gun in salem while on lsd which evoked a chapter of nh metal heads to approach said thugs and pursue a half hour of threats which consisted of "step up" and "step down" being repeated over and over again. admist 3 or 4 evacuations of the party while cops knocked on the door.

It's definately dangerous. Before I fell to the floor I almost went over the stairs. If I had been near a cliff I would have thrown myself off it... Complete madness

Dropped 2 hits of LSD at a AC/DC concert in high school.... Did not even know I was tripping until the show got out and then it was complete and total awe

one of the MANY trips i took on shrooms on block island i though i was being engulfed by evil dead type fog. it actually was VERY foggy that night but the drug def took contorll and gave me some crazy visuals. every time i closed my eyes it look as if there was fog under my eye lids, it would crawl and lurk in trees ( i was mostly outdoors the hole time) later on the night i was lurking in the kitchen of the house i was living in with like 15 cullanary college student interns. the kitchen was brutaly dirty and i was like having a very chicken fucker moment gagging and screaming bout the kitchen being a fuckin den for slam pigs and nerds. thats when my vision went totaly yellow like everything was shinning yellow. ill never forget that night it was truly epic

no i work with them at a resturant/hotel i worked at for the past 5 or 6 years. the house i lived in was provided by the work cause its seasonal work. but @ the housing i did live in was with JWU kids CIA kids and NECI kids i def scared the shit outta many kids from there. also throw in some eastern european house keepers that live in the house too. it was interesting times to say the least. loved working out there and i learned alot of cooking skills and dated a chick out there whos family runs a horse farm out there so i learned how to ride and interact with horses which is awsome. i didnt sleep that night at all, then went to work doing land scaping, then went and did a dinner shift washing dishes.

How was DMT??? Is that stuff even around here?

I have definitely never painted Warhammer figurines on salvia, either. Nope, never once. And it definitely wasn't a unique challenge. Only mini painting on SPARTAN MODE DIFFICULTY is real.

I would pretty much describe the salv as analogous to Limbo in Inception. Just time dilation to the point where you have way way way more (relative) time on your hands than you have any business having, and you also have to spend it in a yawning abyss populated solely by your own thoughts (sans any awareness that you are actually still alive or ever even really existed at all). I love salvia and always have really great, powerful trips on it. Not really dark, or red and black or whatnot, I find it to be very calming for the most part, and very cartoon-ish, if that makes any sense. I tend to see fairly hippie shit like flying animals and shit, and generally feel like I am being pulled around by unseen forces, but usually just through the walls and shit, not into the void, although that would also be badass. I do seem to see a lot of insectoid type creatures on it, but they are very friendly and talkative.

I generally smoke the 60x salvia, I find that it lasts a little longer and is a bit more intense. The effect is different for everyone, I see people get really, really monged out from it, I definitely wigged a bit the first time I smoked it, but it was mostly when I was sharply transported back from the inside of like a giant hamster ball, suddenly into reality, I find that to be the scariest part, that the switch from the "salvia" world back to the real world is so sudden and jarring.

Tryptamine based hallucinogens generally give me the most "metal" trips, with lots of cool skulls, snakes, and Swamp Thing-esque visuals when I do them outside, sometimes some really cool alien shit. Probably my most "metal" trip was when I discovered an alien industrial complex behind the bowling alley near my house when I followed this path. I also found an alien artifact. I went back the next day, and none of it was really there.

I just had to bump to point out that this ^^^ is the most Eric Paone post that was ever posted. Sums it all right up, really.

My buddy Paul and I were tripping on mushrooms in this huge cemetery in Manch the fall before last and we felt like demons and goblins were stalking us the entire night. Talk about an awesomely bad trip! It felt like it was gonna last for an eternity. Easily one of the most fucked up nights of our lives!
