Lucasfilm Ltd. and Twentieth Century Fox have announced that the first of the 3D theatrical releases of the Star Wars films -- Episode I: The Phantom Menace -- now has an official release date. And it's in less than a year.
February 10, 2012 is the day when you will be able to return to theaters to see Qui-Gon, Amidala, young Anakin and yes, even Jar Jar in full stereoscopic action

I was going to sarcastically ask when was the last time George Lucas did an original film, but apparently he has this one coming out this year.
